Desiccant strips
MiniDryy Strip desiccant bags are produced on spools according to your requirements. The identical bag lengths make the product compatible with automated separators and dispensers. The desiccant chains eliminate the process of manual insertion, saving working time and achieving greater efficiency. The large adsorption capacity of the bags keeps the humidity low and extends the shelf life of your medicines and food supplements. Direct contact is harmless.
Granules
Silica gel
The classic desiccant for the pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Adsorbs up to 40% of its own weight in moisture. Optionally with saturation indicator as silica gel orange - this makes moisture adsorption visible from the outside without weighing.
Molecular sieve
Adsorbent that works quickly and effectively even at very low relative humidity. Adsorbed moisture from the product or residual moisture from the production process is safely sealed in. Diagnostic reagents or medical devices thus remain as effective and safe as on the day they were manufactured.
Activated carbon + silica gel
Mixture to adsorb excess moisture and unwanted odours. Activated charcoal is obtained from coconut shells. The ingredients are stable and non-toxic and are suitable for moisture protection and deodorisation of e.g. fish oil capsules.
Grammages
Standard grammages
The standard grammages for our MiniDryy Strip products are between 0.25 and 10 grams. Bag dimensions and filling are optimally matched so that not too much space is taken up in the packaging.
Individual grammages
If our standard grammages are not suitable for your application, we can realise individual fillings for you.
Bag materials
Tyvek
This material is made of HDPE and is extremely tear-resistant and absolutely dust-tight. It is breathable but water-repellent and allows moisture to be adsorbed quickly. It can be used in direct contact with medical products and foodstuffs.
PE-coated non-woven
This bag material is dust-free and is processed without glue or solvents. Suitable for direct product contact. Mainly used with Humidity Control sachets, as this is the best way to ensure the absorption and release of moisture.
Aihua Paper
A semi-transparent paper which, in combination with silica gel orange as an indicator, makes it easy to read the degree of saturation through the packaging in order to replace the desiccant if necessary.

Bag materials
Tyvek
This material is made of HDPE and is extremely tear-resistant and absolutely dust-tight. It is breathable, but water-repellent, and allows moisture to be adsorbed quickly. It can be used in direct contact with medicinal products and foodstuffs.
PE-coated non-woven
This bag material is dust-free and is processed without glue or solvents. Suitable for direct product contact. Compared to Tyvek, this bag material is cheaper and therefore an economical alternative if Tyvek is not specified.
Aihua Paper
A semi-transparent paper which, in combination with silica gel orange as an indicator, makes it easy to read the degree of saturation through the packaging in order to replace the desiccant if necessary.

Cutting and sealing technology
Ultrasonic cross seams / Visible Lap Seal
Detection of the cross seam by the customer-specific separation system based on the print mark. A hole as an identification mark is not possible with this cross seam.
The back seam is made of Visible Lap Seal for this type of sealing.
This sealing is only possible with Tyvek as bag material.
Heat-sealed cross seams / Fin Seal
In addition to a print mark, this type of seal can also be perforated to identify the area between two bags that can be cut by the separation system.
These bags are manufactured with a Fin Seal back seam.
All bag materials are processed with this type of sealing, except for uncoated Tyvek.
