Desiccant capsules
CapDryy are desiccant capsules that can be embedded in the lids of bottle-shaped containers. The capsule is also suitable for enclosing it directly with the product to be protected in the packaging itself. This makes CapDryy an excellent alternative to conventional desiccant bags. Moisture is quickly adsorbed and the product has a crack-resistant coating. This makes it the perfect desiccant for all pharmaceutical and OTC products or diagnostic reagents that need to be protected from the effects of moisture.
Properties
CapDryy desiccant capsules have a high-strength PP plastic shell that withstands mechanical stress very well. They are filled with silica gel as standard (indicator optional, color change from orange to white). They comply with the specifications of USP41-NF36 < 670 >. The special membrane in the top of the capsule ensures even moisture adsorption.
Granules
Silica gel is the classic desiccant for the pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Adsorbs up to 40% of its own weight in moisture. Optionally with saturation indicator as silica gel orange – this makes moisture adsorption visible from the outside without weighing.
Molecular sieve capsules are also available on request.
